Becky Powell is an English Author and nurse. She was born in 1971 and grew up in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex. When she was 19, she left home and moved to Warwick where she qualified as a nurse in 1993. She gained a degree in English Literature from the University of Worcester in 2002. She resides in Worcestershire with her son and three cats.
She has written stories ever since she was little and is an avid reader. She is inspired by the work of Maya Angelou and Matt Haig, and enjoys reading anything about the Tudors. Her other favourite authors include Jane Austen, the Bronte’s, and Truman Capote.
Her work has been featured in both magazines and newspapers. The Crazy Bookworm: Books, Mental Health and Me is her first published book.
